These pages contain my images. My artwork, my photos, but most importantly, my Tater Tot.
I adopted Tia on January 26th, 2007 from Mutts-n-Stuff in St. Louis.
She is 2 1/2 years old +/-. She is a gorgeous Lab/Pit Bull mix with the softest shiniest coat you will ever see. When she was a puppy, she was fostered by a very nice
woman named Lynn Terry. Lynn is a photographer who photographs, among other things, dogs. When I
was trying to decide whether to adopt Tia, I received the cutest pictures of baby Tia from Mutts-n-Stuff. It was completely unfair
because after that, I had no choice in the matter. I am certainly glad, however, that I decided to adopt her.
We have been training with Sully's Dog Training since early Spring.
Tia is a very good girl, but her uncontrollable excitement and extreme independence (read bullheadedness) was trying in the beginning.
Sully has been a godsend. I will never again have a dog without seeking good training. I recommend Sully to every dog owner
I meet.
Tia is a little social butterfly. She hopes with every inch of her body that everyone she sees is coming to see her. She would
like nothing more than to greet everyone with a lick and a leg bruise. She loves playing. She could play fetch for hours and hours.
She loves to drop her tennis ball on your keyboard when you are working.
Tia loves playing with her friends. She can't get enough of her cousin Marcario. He's not quite as interested in her as she is in him, but they
love each other. His 6 years can't always keep up with her 3.
Tia and Paddy O' are the terrors of the dog park. With the whole grassy dog park available to them, they spend most of their time fighting in the dirt patch in front
of the park bench. No matter how often I bathe her, I don't think she'll ever be truly clean again.
Kipper is Tia's next door neighbor. He spends a lot of time outside by himself, so Tia is very glad his Mommy said he could come over and play
whenever he wants to. He is such a lover, and wants nothing more than to be snuggled and cuddled and told how good he is. That is unless Tia's around,
and then he wants nothing more than to grab a stick and play keep away from the big dog. Tia may have Pit Bull speed, but Kipper has puppy agility.
Tia gets very frustrated with the whole situation and frequently tells everyone about it.
UPDATE: Kipper's parents suck. He ran away once and they barely looked for him. He has since disappeared again. I don't think he's coming back. I wouldn't. I hope he's with someone who will actually give him some love and attention.
We finally got to meet Drake at the dog park. Drake is the 'Aint no Bugs on Me' dog. He's about 6 months old, and cute as a button. He
definitely has the lab puppy energy, so I'm sure his Mommy would love to get him together with Tia and Paddy O' to wear him out a little. He and Tia had a good
time, but it got dark and chilly fast. Next time we'll have more time (and hopefully more Paddy O')
Since this site is dominated by pictures of my Sweet Little Tater Tot, you can still view all of my graphic and fine art at Naked Carrot.
